Thanks to its homogenous surface, roller blind creates unlimited possibilities of protection from the sunlight. Depending on the type of window (or window recess) one can choose the best way to "separate" from the light. The most popular roller blind is roller blind in aluminium case with guide channels. Uninvasive installation on the window frame and complete screening the window pane with the fabric makes it become an integral part of the window with a colourful (depending on the choice of fabric) screen. If you want to screen the window recess it is best to use the roller blind where the fabric is wound directly on the roller tube (without the case and guide channels). In order to stretch the fabric correctly a special bottom rail or additional line-guidance is used. This type of roller blind can be a substitute for traditional curtain, which greatly enhances visual quality of the interior. In case of skylight roller blinds (ROTO, FAKRO, VELUX) the best way of sun protection is roller blind in aluminium case (without chain-operation), equipped with an effective breaking mechanism. Using a chain (manual) operation or motor (electric) operation you can easily adjust the position of the fabric on the window pane or within the window recess. Roller blind without guide channels and shielding case is often used as a projector screen in offices or conference halls (often equipped with motor for easier operation).
